California Love September 22 thru November 18 Adelman Fine Art

Growing up we had a large Wisteria vine. I loved hiding amidst the flowers, sampling the nectar, inhaling the aroma. The painting Wisteria is numerous layers of thrown paint, in a multitude of purple shades signifying the embrace I felt when hiding behind it's abundance.

Purple Sky is a walk on the beach in Cambria. Where jewel tone rocks can be found at shores edge and hidden amid the rocks that appear to rise when the ocean's spray releases the birds nestled among them.

California Love is a typical street in southern California, where one can find, Crepe Myrtle, Chinese Rain, Orchid Trees and Ornamental Plums laced between tropical and succulents all shielded by a blooming Crab Apple, all in the same yard. Each house having it's own horticulture festival, keep the blocks alive with color.
