The Leigh Collection. The largest painting in the collection, 5x11' This one embraces the room, which has floor to ceiling windows in the wall to the right of this painting. It was a bit overcast this day, so we did not get the play of light on the canvas, that I would have liked to see. Fortunately, overcast days are few and far between in Los Angeles, so the owner, gets to enjoy the play of light across this field , most days.
Chloe's Forest is part of the Leigh collection. I have the honor of being commissioned to paint all the paintings for a 7600sq ft home in Bel Air. It is a daunting task, but also a wonderful experience, working with the client to provide the perfect painting for each individual space.

Borders of Blue is one of five paintings from my Borders series. The same technique is used with this style painting, the exception being, that I have blocked the background paint to give precise lines. It is an attempt to capture the chaos of the throws. The binding gives an even more opulent look to the layers of paint. Borders of Blue is represented by Rebecca Molayem Gallery, Los Angeles. Two other paintings in this style, in varying colors and sizes, are represented by Adelman Fine Arts, San Diego.

This is my first thrown painting where the background is lit and the foreground remains in shadow. The wisp of cloud interrupts the flow as it changes direction bringing the viewer back to the center. Big Sky is part of the road trip series.
